
David Rivera Garcia is a mixed Latino filmmaker who has worked in the film and media production industry for over ten years. David is pronoun neutral, and is often referred to as 'he / they.' A Temple University alumni, David started as an intern at Larry Levinson Productions and World of Wonder. David worked on feature films such as “Invincible" in 2006, and then moved into independent feature film, music video, and TV productions. During this time David worked as a camera assistant, camera operator, gaffer, and eventually cinematographer.
After directing several dozen TV and internet commercials for Walmart and Vimby, David started a production company Between Pictures LLC. David writes, directs, shoots, edits, and produces commercial, music video, feature film, social media, and VR content. David's work has been seen on major streaming services such as Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix, and on networks including CBS Viacom, CNBC, FOX, MTV, NBC. Some of David's clients include Comedy Central, Dita, The New York Times, Paramount, PBS, USA Today, and Vimby.
In addition to on set production, David consults for advertising and marketing agencies in AR / VR, brand development, and multichannel campaigns.
